A seminar was organized under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University, by the Department of Women's Affairs at Al-Zahraa University for women, in cooperation with the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies.
The motto of the seminar was "We are all with you because you are our second half" which was intended to raise awareness of the dangers of cancer, its methods of diagnosis and steps to prevent it.
Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi, from the Breast Cancer Center of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine presented the seminar. Examination types of particularly best methods by case were highlighted by the presenter.
Furthermore, Dr. Al- Tamimi underscored the importance of early examination, and answered the questions of the audience.
It is noteworthy that this seminar comes within a series of similar events held by the University in October, which is globally dedicated to breast cancer awareness. Additionally, the University is determined to raise health awareness among female students with a view to replenish and bolster their lives in a scientific and practical fashion.
