As an integral part of its annual program in commemoration of occasions related to Ahlu Al-Bayt Imams (peace be upon them), Al-Zahraa University for women organized a celebration of the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her). That festive event was held under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of the University and in presence of Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Baheya, Dean of Education Faculty, Prof. Dr. Huda Al-Amidi, Head of the Arabic Language Department along with a slew of University tutors and students. Furthermore, that anniversary, which was held by the University’s Arabic Language and Student Activities Departments in cooperation with the Quranic Memorization Unit, took place at Um Abiha Hall. The program of the event included Holy Quran verse recitation and a lecture on the importance of a role model.
Sheikh Dr. Hussein Al-Nasrawi presented the lecture, which focused on the importance and characteristics of a role model. He also explained how the personality of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) had credibly reflected, such a role model to be followed not only by every woman, but also by every human being.
At the end of aforementioned event, the University‘s Quranic Memorization Unit, honored female students who memorized the Holy Quran.
