His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, representative of the supreme religious authority, visited Al-Zahraa University for women to keep abreast of the progress and developments made by the University and its female students. Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, University president, received and welcomed His eminence. Moreover, the tour included a visit to the new building to assess the construction progress made so far therein, in addition to the necessary requirements to expedite the building process with a view to put it into service in due time.
It is noteworthy, that the legitimate overseer acquainted himself of the University library, which ranked first among Iraqi university libraries. He was briefed on the quality of scientific services provided thereat.
Finally, His Eminence concluded the tour by listening to female students’ concerns and complaints in an attempt to solve and alleviate their burdens. His Eminence aimed in doing so to help students complete their educational pathway in an obstacle free fashion.
