In a gesture reflecting steadfast support for academic excellence and the vital role of universities in advancing the educational landscape in Iraq, His Eminence Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Custodian of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, honored a group of outstanding female students who achieved “Distinction” in all subjects of the evaluative examinations. Additionally, these female students were awarded financial grants and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their exceptional academic efforts and notable achievements. The honoring coincided with Pharmacy Faculty alongside Health and Medical Technologies Faculty securing first place for the second consecutive year among all private universities in the evaluative examinations. It is important to note that such accomplishment exemplifies the academic integrity and rigor to which the University is committed. Furthermore, His Eminence affirmed the advanced level of higher education attained and highlighted these achievements as role models of educational excellence to be followed. Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khafaji, Dean of Health and Medical Technologies Faculty • Heads of scientific departments and members of the teaching staff Besides, His Eminence paid tribute to the efforts exerted by the academic staff members in preparing and qualifying the female students, noting that this excellence was the result of a comprehensive and collaborative effort between the administration, academics, and female students. In addition, he emphasized the significance of continuing that approach in supporting and advancing the educational process, in order to achieve greater success and ensure the delivery of meaningful service to the country. It is noteworthy that the University is regarded as one of the educational institutions established by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, in support of and encouragement for women’s active participation in the field of education and their contribution to diverse sectors of work. The said initiative is undertaken in accordance with their role in building society.
