The University Follow-up Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre at Al-Zahraa University for Women, held a panel discussion addressing the risks of arms proliferation in society and the need to ensure that arms remain under the control of the State.

The session was delivered by Major Nashwan Ala' Al-Din Haider, Director of the Arms Control and Regulation Division at the Holy Karbala Governorate Police Command, on Tuesday, 7 November 2023, in Umm Abiha Hall at the University.
