The College of Education / Department of Arabic Language at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education, held a scientific workshop on (Using Neuro-Linguistic Programming Techniques in Designing Educational Content), which was presented by professor Dr.Farah Baqer Ahmed Al-Fadli, on Saturday and Sunday corresponding to (21/1/2023 and 22/1/2023) consecutively at 10:30 am, at Al-Kawthar Center for Continuing Education. The workshop included the definition of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which refers to a group of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors resulting from our habits and experiences, which affect our communication with others, and upon which our lifestyle depends, and it can be altered and it is related to the spoken and non-verbal language and our nervous system represented by the five senses. She explained the techniques of programming science, including the representational system that helps the teacher in diagnosing his students, as the characters are generally divided into audio, visual, sensory, and digital. She also referred to the four-square technique of Bernice McCarthy and the program of approaching and moving away from Michael Land and linking the subject to identity, as well as conducting practical exercises that can simplify the comprehension of the theoretical concept. It is worth noting that Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women aims to attain through its workshops and courses to develop the performance of its teaching staff and advance their teaching practices.
