On the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, and with the atmosphere of the last days of the month of Ramadan full of goodness and blessings, and under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Al-Hussainiya Shrine of. The Orphan Media and Culture Center of the Holy Al-Hussainiya Shrine of with Al-Zahraa University for Women, held a ceremony (Basma of Eid), on Wednesday corresponding to (19/ 4/2023), on the hall of Umm Abeha (pbuh).
The ceremony opened with verses from the Holy Quran, recited by the female student: Ruqayyah Muhammad, reading Surat Al-Fatihah and standing in honor of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq.
Then, the speech of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women: Prof. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, in which she dealt with the objectives and message of the General Secretariat of the Holy Husayni Shrine and Al-Zahraa University for Women. She also emphased in it the provision of care and care for distinguished female students who have lost a parent, and praised their determination and patience.
This was followed by the speech of the Head of the Media Department at the Holy Husayni Shrine, Mr. Abbas Asim Al-Khafaji, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the management of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and its support and embrace of religious and cultural activities.
After that, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Nour Hatif Hussein, shared her story with the audience, as she narrated her life’s journey beautifully . It was full of difficulties and how she defied circumstances to succeed and excel despite the pain of losing her father.
This was followed by a chanting segment performed by the chanting group of the Holy Al-Hussainiya Shrine.
Then Ms. Ayat Al-Khatib, a psychologist and developmental trainer, presented a workshop on achievement, where she talked about the motivation for achievement and the human value that is determined by leaving a mark in life.
This was followed by a speech said by Dr. Haider Aidan / College of Education at Al-Zahraa University for Women, in which he explained how orphanhood is strength, and that the Messenger of God (may God bless him and his family) has a good example.
After that, Ms. Alaa Taher, the official in charge of the Orphan Media and Culture Center, took the stage, in which she discussed the importance of cultivating confidence in the orphan, taking his hand, and the need to support him psychologically and intellectually.
In conclusion, gifts were honored and distributed to distinguished female students by the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women: Prof. Zainab Mulla AL- Sultani.
