• A delegation from Health and University Education Authority at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein headed by Prof. Dr. Sattar Al-Saadi concluded several memoranda of understanding (MoU). This gesture was meant to be in conformity with the forward-looking vision of Health and University Education Authority at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein to secure scientific sobriety as per best educational standards for students of medical and academic faculties.
Added to the above are aims to build an advanced and sophisticated educational model, to cooperate and integrate with Iraqi state institutions, especially the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Iraqi Ministry of Health.
The said delegation forged partnerships by following actions:
• research field development
• student swap and scholarships at early and specialized stages as well as enrollment in MSc and PhD programs available in sober institutions abroad.
• visit exchange for professors and academics, notably groups of medical faculties to Warith Al-Anbiya University, Al-Zahraa University for Women along with a group of medical faculties from sober scientific institutions
• mutual sharing of curricula, scientific and academic materials.
• organization of reciprocal practical training programs with health institutions.
• organization of live and remote lectures (online) as well as holding international conferences and workshops
with several such sober parties as:
🔹The prestigious Beirut Saint George University (SGUB) and its hospital, which is considered one of the renowned and oldest medical centers in the region. It is noteworthy, that SGUB which was founded in 1878, has heightened sobriety thanks to its direct association with Mayo Clinic. Hence, twinning with SGUB will enable us to have the latest teaching programs, compatible with science advancements in these fields as well as new teaching methods, for students of the Faculty of Medicine.
🔹 MoU on cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at the Lebanese University, which is linked to the academic system of La Francophonie.
🔹 MoU with the American University of Beirut (AUB) was concluded for skill refinement, technology adoption, introduction of research and innovation elements into educational methodology, as well as creation of a student-centered environment that promotes opportunities for excellence, build a huge database of research and related data in the medical fields.
