Al-Zahraa University for Women, represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Jaafar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology Engineering, participated in the International Conference on Islamic Unity "The Flood of Al-Aqsa", on behalf of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani. This participation comes as a notable step that underlines the academic and cultural role in the promotion of peace and peaceful coexistence. The conference, which was held in Baghdad, witnessed wide participation from various Islamic parties, highlighted the importance of peaceful coexistence and support for the causes of the oppressed, particularly the Palestinian cause.

The conference, which is an outstanding platform to unite Islamic efforts on issues of justice and peace, discussed ways and means to promote unity among Muslims and how to address the challenges confronted by the Islamic Nation (Ummah), including defending rights and just causes such as the right of Palestinians to self-determination.

Dr. Al-Husseini's participation was an affirmation of the University's commitment to moral and humanitarian issues that form the crux of the educational and academic mission.

The conference concluded with the a statement calling for strengthened unity among Muslims and an activated role of universities and educational institutions in addressing current challenges and promoting peace pathways in the region, while placing emphasis on extending support to the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom and independence.
