Under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Department of Student Activities and in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women,
the University hosted today, the first consultative meeting for the academic year 2024-2025
in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadou,
Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.
During the meeting, and in solidarity with what is going through in southern Lebanon under Zionist aggression, a minute of mourning was observed for the souls of the martyrs to denounce crimes against humanity and violation of human rights.
The meeting witnessed the presence of the directors of student activity departments and divisions in Iraqi public and private universities. The meeting is considered to be one of the crucial gatherings that deliberated ways to promote activities of university students, which would lead to the evolution and development of their talents through competitions, workshops and various training courses, in addition to the enhancement of necessary capabilities, extension of considerable support as well as volunteer work motivation. Furthermore, foundations for joint cooperation between various government and private agencies and institutions were set up at the meeting.
Many issues and problems were also debated and solved, notably those affecting student activities at the departments and divisions of all universities

Head of Student Activities Department at Ministerial Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority,

Dr. Firas Ali Hassan Chairman of Technical Committee
Dr. Noman Al Khazraji, Chairman of Media Committee
and Dr. Mohamed Sobeih Mahmoud, member of Technical Activity Committee.
Moreover, outstanding issues, solutions, proposals and recommendations were considered on activity presentation within the implementing framework of plans and programs to ensure their effective and sustainable success.
Needless to say that Al-Zahraa University for Women is one of those universities that have won many awards in competitions held by the Ministry as well as other universities, in addition to several participations in art exhibitions, workshops and scientific training courses over the past years.
