Al-Zahraa University for Women has completed logistical preparations for the opening ceremony of the Department of Sciences of Nahjul-Balagha and Islamic Education. The ceremony is intended to honor the heritage of Ahlul-Bayt, the Progeny of the Prophet (Peace Be upon Them). The said preparations were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadou, University President Assistant for Scientiffic Affairs with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, President Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyah, Dean of the faculty of Education, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Huda Al-Amidi, Head of Nahjul-Balagha Department. Accordingly, final touches have been made for the opening of this pioneering Department, which marks a significant milestone in the field of Islamic Sciences Education. Additionally, the Department represents a significant step in the promotion of enlightened Islamic thinking, drawing upon the words, bravery, and wisdom of the Prince of Eloquence, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him), as a lofty life style worthy of study and veneration. Furthermore, the new building, which would become operational in the upcoming days, was inspected by those who partook in the preparations. The building would be a qualitative addition and contribution to the achievement of the University’s objectives, ultimately providing new opportunities for development. It is noteworthy that an elite group of religious, scientific, and academic figures will attend the opening ceremony, consequently highlighting the intellectual and scholarly depth offered by the new Department of Sciences of Nahjul-Balagha and Islamic Education. It goes without saying that such a move would further boost the University’s standing in the academic arena.
