A joint delegation from the Republics of Algeria and Egypt, led by Dr. Mohammed Bougrieta Al-Jazaeri from Algeria, visited Al-Zahraa University for Women as part of the delegations participating in the Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) International Scientific Conference. The conference which was organized by the Quranic Studies Department affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, brought together specialized researchers in Quranic interpretation, as well as religious, cultural, and social issues relevant to Islamic societies.
During the visit, members of the delegation expressed their admiration for this educational institution, which they deemed important. They also noted its remarkable academic and cultural advancements. Furthermore, they praised the University’s various academic departments that serve the educational process and enhance Iraq's role among regional and international countries. The University’s state-of-the-art laboratories and its modern teaching methodologies were also commended. Additionally, the delegation affirmed that these capabilities reflect the University’s commitment to provide high-quality education and support scientific research.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Al-Jazaeri commended the efforts of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein in the promotion and development of education in Iraq. He noted that the progress witnessed at the University strengthened its position as a leading center for higher education and scientific research.
This visit comes as part of efforts deployed to enhance academic and cultural cooperation between educational institutions in Arab countries and facilitate the exchange of expertise in research and education. Such initiatives contribute significantly to the development of the educational sector and align with shared goals among nations.
