Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadoua, Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Prof. Dr. Hassan Hadi Al-Qazzaz, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, welcomed the visiting delegation that included Prof. Dr. Nazir Jabbar Al-Hindawi, scientific chief assistant at the center, Jinan Al-Wazani, head of Specialized Studies Division on Arbaeen (commemoration of 40th day anniversary of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom) visitation, as well as Asaad Al-Shibli, head of Public Relations and Media Division.
The visit comes to promote cooperative integration between the institutions of Imam Hussein’s Holy Shrine, activate the scientific and research base and organize joint research conferences and seminars. The two sides discussed a project to hold
an applied scientific workshop on the margins of the eighth Arbaeen Conference with the participation of a number of relevant universities, in an attempt to provide solutions to some of the problems encountered by Arbaeen visitors in the medical and engineering fields, and to keep pace with relevant technological developments.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadoua underscored the keen desire by the presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women to develop collaborative relations and to strengthen means of communication with Karbala Center. Furthermore, Dr. Jadoua expressed the university’s desire to participate actively in the Arbaeen Conference including its various topics, in addition to the readiness to host the scientific the conference workshop.
