The Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Education, Al-Zahraa University for Women, has achieved a significant academic milestone by ranking first among private universities in Iraq and eighth among both public and private universities in the Iraqi ranking system for Education Faculties in 2024.

This achievement reflects the dedication and teamwork spirit demonstrated by the Faculty administrative staff members beside students, who cooperated to achieve academic excellence. It also underscores the university’s commitment to implementing quality standards and academic accreditation through curricula, focusing on scientific research, and providing a comprehensive educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani,
emphasized that this accomplishment was an important step towards realizing the University's vision of becoming one of the leading educational institutions at the local and regional levels. She also noted that the ranking was based on precise criteria, including academic performance, scientific research, infrastructure, and the academic qualifications of Faculty staff members.

Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Huda Al-Amid, Head of the Arabic Language
Department, stated that such success would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of all Department members, the significant support of the University administration and the collaboration between students and Faculty. She affirmed the commitment by the Department to pursue its success journey so as to attain higher rankings in regional and international classifications.

It is noteworthy that the Arabic Language Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women is one of the leading departments in linguistic and literary studies. It aims to graduate qualified academic professionals who serve Iraqi society and cultural and further linguistic identity.
