Comfort, security and outstanding service

The internal departments are a good opportunity for female students to join universities that are geographically far from the area of residence. The efficiency of these residential departments and the level of services they provide reflect the university’s efficiency, its progress, and its commitment to international quality standards.

With regard to the internal departments at Al-Zahraa University (pbuh) for Women, we find that they provide all the required international standards in terms of distinguished architectural design, advanced infrastructure, quality in services provided to female students, security and safety, as well as continuous follow-up by the President of the university, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani for female students’ affairs and their needs continuously to ensure the provision of a safe and comfortable environment, in which it ultimately reflects on their academic achievement.

In this regard, the director assistant of internal departments affairs at Al-Zahraa University (pbuh) for Women, Mrs. Sarah Muhammad Rashid, stated that the departments consist of three buildings, two of them have the rooms system and one has the apartments system, in which all services (electricity, water and internet) are available and Department of Maintenance is supervised on the whole building. Department of Follow-up and University Guard is responsible for the security at the highest level and they also provide health services over the 24 hours a day.

As for the female students’ exit from the university, it is subject to procedures such as phone the parents to ensure their approval as well as there are specific times for their returning to the university. In fact, people from outside the department are not allowed to enter the buildings except in exceptional cases and with the approval of the Presidency of the university.

Some female students expressed their opinion regarding the internal departments and the services provided in them. We find (Amna Hamza Hamid), a female student in the second stage at the College of Pharmacy / Babil city, says that the provided services are distinguished, and (Zainab Muthanna Khaled), a female student in the second stage in the College of Pharmacy – Basra city expressed her happiness with the inspection visits made by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani during working hours, and sometimes at late times at night immediately solving the problems of the female students.
