Al-Zahraa University for Women has completed all procedures required for the implementation of a cooperation agreement with the University of Milan, Italy, across a range of academic and research fields. The agreement aims to expand existing memoranda of understanding and further enhance academic and research performance through collaboration with internationally recognised universities.
It is worth mentioning that this agreement represents one of the strategic partnerships that the University has actively pursued as part of dozens of local and international agreements concluded in recent years. It seeks to strengthen cooperation in scientific research, joint doctoral programmes, and the organisation of conferences and seminars of mutual interest, thereby achieving shared objectives for both institutions.
The agreement also includes the development of the necessary funding framework and the establishment of a joint annual action plan designed to achieve both short- and long-term goals. Furthermore, it provides a foundation for future agreements, subject to the approval of the relevant academic committees, whether jointly or independently, while facilitating access to funding opportunities from governmental, international, and other supporting organisations.
It is noteworthy that Al-Zahraa University for Women has concluded numerous agreements with reputable universities both within Iraq and abroad. Through these partnerships, the University continues to support and advance higher education, contributing to the internationalisation and development of this vital sector.
