The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University welcomed His Eminence, the Legal Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, on an inspection visit to the university. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the new expansion, which stands as one of the most vital annexes to the main building and a cornerstone of the university's ongoing development projects.

The visit featured the inauguration of the Al-Zahraa Mosque and the campus kindergarten Unit. This step reflects the university's dedication to spiritual and educational dimensions, highlighting its commitment to providing an integrated environment that harmonizes faith-based values with educational care, in line with its academic and humanitarian mission.

Furthermore, His Eminence conducted a field tour to review future plans for infrastructural development and urban expansion currently underway at the university. These expansions are designed to accommodate the growing student enrolment and meet the requirements of a modern educational environment that supports the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.

His Eminence commended the efforts invested in the university's development and the administration's diligence in fostering a balanced educational environment dedicated to academic, pedagogical, and spiritual development. He emphasized the crucial role of academic institutions in raising a generation that possesses knowledge and competence while firmly adhering to authentic values and principles.

In turn, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, affirmed that the university's vision and future strategies are designed to provide a comprehensive academic environment. That blends scientific rigor with religious identity by upgrading educational requirements and services, thereby contributing to an academic journey that elevates the quality of services offered to students and ensures graduates provide specialized, high-impact service to society.
