The Director of The Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, Prof. Dr. Ali Jaafar Al-Husseini headed a Master’s thesis discussion committee subjected towards “New techniques for harvesting energy from high-voltage lines generated as electromagnetic fields and exploiting them to protect energy towers” at Al-Musayib Technical College of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The thesis aimed to create a new technology to protect high-voltage transmission towers and the lines loaded on them within the Iraqi national network. It resulted in harvesting (2570) volts and converting them into useful energy through advanced programs and special electronic chips.
