As part and parcel of its strategic vision and commitment to fostering innovation and creativity, Al-Zahraa University for Women continues to empower its female students in conformity with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In a remarkable achievement, Al-Zahraa University female students ranked fifth at the first level of the Innovation and Sustainability Challenge, among 64 participating public and private universities. The four day event, which was held by the Department of Student Activities within the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at Basra University, featured diverse academic and research initiatives.

It is significant to point out that the said challenge is organized within Ministerial programs designed to support educational institutions and university students, fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange for successful outcomes across various academic disciplines.

In recognition of that outstanding achievement, the President of Al-Zahraa University honored the winning female students, commending their devotion and paying tribute to all efforts deployed to further the stature of the University. Additionally, she emphasized the University’s role in fostering future generations who would contribute with pride and confidence to build a sustainable and prosperous future for Iraq.

It bears noting that Al-Zahraa University for Women has actively expanded its participation in both local and international scientific events in recent years. Such participation reflects the University’s commitment to nurturing highly skilled professionals capable of advancing the country’s presence in key global forums.
