Distinguished visitors, dear students, and esteemed colleagues, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the webpage of the Department of Studies and Planning, the window through which we envision the future of our giving university. At Al-Zahraa University for Women, we believe that sound planning is the cornerstone of any institutional success and the compass that guides our energies toward excellence and innovation. About Department

The Studies and Planning Department serves as the strategic engine and vital nerve of Al-Zahraa University for Women. It is responsible for formulating the university's future policies and translating them into actionable plans. Acting as the essential liaison between the University Presidency and all administrative and scientific formations, the department specializes in gathering and analyzing statistical data, preparing feasibility studies for the establishment of new colleges and scientific departments, and ensuring the academic process aligns with ministerial plans and total quality standards. This pivotal role ensures that administrative decisions are grounded in accurate scientific data.

Vision

To achieve leadership and excellence in academic strategic planning, and to serve as the primary, central reference for accurate information and statistics within the university. We aim to ensure sustainable development and institutional advancement that positions Al-Zahraa University for Women (A.S.) among prestigious global universities.

Message

The department is dedicated to providing high-quality planning and statistical services. We achieve this by maintaining an integrated and up-to-date database, developing short- and long-term strategic plans, and analyzing the university’s needs for scientific, structural, and human resource expansion. Our mission is to ensure the optimal investment of available resources to serve the educational and research journey effectively.

Goals

1. Building a Comprehensive Database: To collect, update, and maintain accurate statistical data regarding the university community (students, faculty, and staff), providing it to relevant authorities with precision and speed. 2. Strategic Academic Expansion: To prepare technical and economic feasibility studies for the establishment of new colleges, scientific departments, and postgraduate programs that align with societal needs and the labor market. 3. Institutional Development: To contribute to the development of the university’s organizational structure and propose initiatives that enhance administrative and academic performance efficiency. 4. Alignment with Central Planning: To maintain continuous coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring the accurate implementation of ministerial plans and regulations. 5. Decision Support: To provide senior management with reports and foresight studies that facilitate sound, strategic decision-making.
