Under the aegis of General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Department of Art Education as well as Department of Nahjul-Balagha and Islamic Education at the University’s Education Faculty organized a commemorative event in observance of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (PBUH), under the theme: “The Path of Ali is the Truth That We Hold On To”. In her address, Dr. Al-Sultani emphasized Imam Ali’s significant role in Islamic history, portraying him as a man of all arenas, an undefeatable fearless warrior, a scholar whose wisdom captivated minds, as well as a master of eloquence and rhetoric. She also paid tribute to Education Faculty and its talented female students for their artistic, literary, as well as theatrical expressions that honored the solemn occasion. The event highlighted a variety of activities that reflected the wisdom and justice of the Prophet’s appointed successor (PBUH), including theatrical performances that depicted key moments from his life and his invaluable historical contributions. It is noteworthy that Al-Zahraa University for Women continues through these commemorative events, to instill values inspired by Imam Ali (PBUH) in younger generations, reaffirming the belief that “The Path of Ali is the Truth That We Hold On To”—a guiding beacon of light for all who seek justice, compassion, as well as righteousness.
