In a new academic achievement added to its scientific and research record, Al-Zahraa University for Women has officially entered the RUR (Round University Ranking) Global Subject Rankings, issued by the Russian Ranking Agency, according to an email received by the University from the relevant organisation.
The RUR is regarded as one of the prominent international academic ranking systems. It covers 37 scientific and humanities subjects, providing universities with an opportunity to demonstrate their excellence in specialised fields that reflect the strength of their academic and research performance.
In this edition of the ranking, the University ranked 19th among Iraqi universities and 674th globally among hundreds of participating universities worldwide, with a score of 49.823 points.
It is worth mentioning that this achievement represents a significant milestone in the University’s academic journey and demonstrates its commitment to advancing the quality of education, strengthening scientific research, and adhering to international academic standards. It also reflects the University’s growing standing at both national and international levels, supported by the efforts of its teaching and research staff and the commitment of its senior management to implementing ambitious development plans.
On this occasion, the University extends its sincere congratulations to its academic community, including teaching staff, researchers, and students, affirming that this success represents only the first step in a long-term journey towards achieving further progress in international rankings, in line with its aspirations and future vision of serving the community and advancing knowledge and education.
