Al-Zahraa University welcomed a distinguished delegation including dignitaries from international institutions and religious authorities, from UNESCO, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and the Sunni Endowment Diwan on an official visit aims to enhance the frameworks for joint cultural and academic cooperation.

The official delegation included dignitaries like:

Al-Sheikh. Dr. Abd Al-Shafi Al-Sheikhi, Professor of Qur’anic Exegesis and Postgraduate Studies at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

Al-Sheikh. Dr. Muhammed Al-Nouri, Vice President of Al-Ribat Al-Muhammadi.

Dr. Ali Musa Al-Musawi, Secretary-General of the Council for Dialogue and Religions, in addition Dr. Ameer Al-A’tia from Lebanon.

The delegation accompanied by Sir Haider Al-Mukwshi the Director of International Relations Division at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazaz Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

The tour included visits the University’s corridors and its academic fields, where the delegation reviewed upon the Central Library, the Scientific Laborites, and Teaching Halls, expressed his admiration on the level of organization, the completely educational environment, and available student services.

The delegation emphasized the importance of enhancing the cultural and academic cooperation frameworks between the University and the International Institutions, highlighted the active role of the University in preparing a generation of female students who are scientifically and intellectually competent and connected to their national and religious identity.

This visit reflects the committee of the University to comprehensive academic development and its efforts to enhance international scientific and cultural partnerships, thereby enhancing its status locally and internationally and contributing to the preparation of a distinguished generation capable of making effective contributions to society.
