The Faculty of Pharmacy Council, Al-Zahraa University, held its regular session headed by Prof. Dr. Nour Hatem Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by Mr. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghufran Hussein, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the membership of the ladies and gentlemen heads of scientific branches, in two segments. The first segment of the meeting included discussion of the main topics of institutional and programmatic accreditation for pharmacy faculties in Iraqi universities as well as the necessary recommendations for writing prerequisite self-evaluation reports and the improvement plans. Asst. Dr. Diaa Rahim, Head of the Quality Assurance Committee and a member of the Ministerial Evaluators Team, was hosted for advice on these issues. The second part of the meeting included discussion of such main topics as scientific and administrative affairs, teaching affairs, student affairs, registration, and scientific promotion affairs. Asst. Dr. Osama Ne'ma Wanas, Head of the Examination Committee, was also hosted to discuss main issues of committee affairs and take appropriate decisions on each of them.
