Student Activities Unit, in cooperation with Psychological Counseling Unit at Pharmacy faculty of Al-Zahraa University for Women, organized a recreational and educational event for second-year female students. The activity included a group lunch in the University gardens, providing an opportunity for relaxation and camaraderie. As part and parcel of the event, Dr. Nasreen Al-Jailawi, Head of Educational Counseling Department at the University, presented an engaging lecture on communication skills. Additionally, she managed to shed light on the importance of effective communication in forging relationships, boosting self-confidence, as well as solving problems. The session also featured an interactive “ice-breaking” activity, where each female student introduced herself, shared her interests, talents, and aspirations, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding among the participants.
