The Arabic Language Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised a joyous celebration marking the commemoration anniversary of Lady Zainab’s birth (PBUH).
The program included a variety of segments, beginning with welcoming the first-year female students of the department, followed by a speech delivered by Lect. Dr. Huda Al-Umaydi, the Head of the Department. The said event featured contributions from the department’s faculty members, as well as reflections shared by fourth-year female students, who spoke about their experiences during the four years they have spent within the academic and spiritual environment of Al-Zahraa University.
The celebration managed to shed light on the life of Lady Zainab “Al-‘Aqīlah”, whose legacy stands as a profound lesson in humanity, courage, and resilience, and as a beacon of strength for the Muslim woman. At the same time, the Head of Department and the academic staff extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted first-year female students.
