“The Arabic Language: Between Empowering Identity and Civilizational Communication.”
The forum was honored by the presence of distinguished figures, including:
- Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Yassin, President of the Iraqi Scientific Academy

- Dr. Alaa Diaa Al-Deen, Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Husain.
It also welcomed presidents of universities, deans, and academic experts from various Iraqi and international institutions.
The scientific sessions featured the discussion of numerous research papers and studies dedicated to the Arabic language, exploring linguistic and grammatical developments and their ongoing evolution. The goal was to present these findings in a way that is accessible to scholars and students alike.
In his speech, Dr. Alaa Diaa Al-Deen emphasized the pivotal role of the Holy Shrine in promoting the Arabic language, particularly as the language of the Qur’an and a pillar of Arab identity. He highlighted the educational efforts of the Shrine, spanning from kindergartens to universities, in countering efforts to undermine this unique and foundational language.
This forum reflects Al-Zahraa University's continuous commitment to its educational and scientific mission through organizing conferences, forums, and symposia, as well as establishing academic collaborations at the local, regional, and international levels—all in service of advancing research and supporting both students and faculty in their pursuit of academic excellence.
