Under the auspices of the president of Al-Zahraa University for Women, supervision by the Dean of the Education Faculty, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre, the English Language Department one of the Education Faculty Departments in the University held a scientific workshop entitled “Freud’s Canny Uncanny and Victor Shklovsky’s Defamiliarization” presented by Asst. Lect. Elaf Ali.
The workshop attended by faculty members and the female students from the same department from all the stages, and concluded in some discussion questions by the lecturer to the attendance.
