Under the aegis of the President of Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiya, and with the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff of the Department of English, the mentioned department honored the top students from each stage, including the graduates from last year. The honoring took place in the Umm Abiha Hall after the celebration with them. The celebration began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by standing and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the Iraqi martyrs and those who were martyred from the Lebanese and Palestinian people as a result of the Zionist aggression. Then a speech was given by the Dean of the College of Education, followed by a speech by the Head of the Department of English. Finally, certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts were distributed to them. This celebration comes as a result of Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for women’ keenness to urge its students to reach the highest levels of knowledge by encouraging and motivating them to do so.
