As part of its annual program dedicated to commemorating the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Al-Zahraa University for Women, under the auspicious of its President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Huda Al-Ameedi, alongside a number of faculty members and students, organized a celebration marking the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab Al-Hawraa (peace be upon her). The event was held in Umm Abiha Hall and was jointly arranged by the Department of Arabic Language, the Student Activities Division, and the Qur’an Memorization Unit.
The program featured a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a lecture delivered by Sheikh Dr. Hussein Al-Nasrawi on the importance of righteous role models. The lecture emphasized the noble attributes of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) as a prime example of moral strength, patience, and steadfastness, presenting her as a guiding role model for women and for humanity at large.
The celebration concluded with the honoring of students who have memorized the Holy Qur’an, in recognition of their efforts and dedication, by the Qur’an Memorization Unit at the university.
