A workshop was organized under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women and under the supervision of the faculty of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Radiology and Sonar Techniques and the Department of Women's Affairs. The workshop was also held in cooperation with the Breast Cancer Center of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the Center for Continuous Education, during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The motto of the workshop was "We are all with you because you are our second half". Furthermore, the said workshop took place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the sonar laboratory of the Radiology Department at the University. Dr. Haider Muhammad Al-Tamimi, specialized consultant at the Breast Oncology Center, presented the main theme of the workshop. It is noteworthy that the workshop aimed to raise consciousness and awareness on the importance of early detection of breast cancer symptoms in addition to its prevention methods. Moreover, the workshop was intended to guide audience towards available resources allotted for support and treatment.
