Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the Central Library at Al-Zahraa University organized the annual competition “Race of Minds,” an initiative that forms part and parcel of the University’s vision to promote a culture of reading, scientific inquiry, and the development of female students’ intellectual and academic capabilities.
The competition comprises ten diverse knowledge tracks, with each track including five specialized books covering a wide range of scientific, intellectual, and cultural fields. This thematic diversity allows students to engage with a rich body of knowledge and broaden their academic horizons, reflecting the University’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that fosters continuous learning and exploration.
The event witnessed remarkable participation from students, who demonstrated outstanding performance across the various tracks and readings. Their engagement enriched their research skills, deepened their cultural awareness, and enhanced their analytical abilities.
This initiative forms one of the key programs organized by the University to encourage students to interact with multiple sources of knowledge and equip them with the tools needed to excel in their academic and scientific paths.
