Imam Hussain Manuscript Maintenance and Restoration Center, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, participated in cooperation with the Central Library of Al-Zahraa University for Women in a number of scientific and cultural activities. These included the 12th International Imam Hussein Conference for Imamia Medics International and the Annual Department of Art Education Festival.
The participation took place through the organization of a specialized introductory exhibition, during which the Center showcased the scientific methods adopted in preserving and maintaining manuscripts and important historical documents, as well as the mechanisms used to protect them from damage and deterioration. The exhibition also shed light on the efforts of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein in the fields of manuscript verification, documentation, and the preservation of scientific and civilizational heritage.
The exhibition aimed to enhance cultural and cognitive awareness among university students, emphasizing the importance of manuscripts as authentic sources of knowledge and the necessity of preserving them as an integral part of the religious and historical identity of the nation.
This participation comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the holy shrines and academic institutions, reflecting both sides’ commitment to promoting a culture of care for scientific heritage and supporting activities that contribute to the development of academic and research awareness among female students. This aligns with the scientific and cultural mission of Al-Zahraa University and the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.
