Dean of the College of Engineering participates in the International Conference of Imami Physicians

The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, participated in the activities of the 12th International Conference of Imami Physicians, held in cooperation with the Health and Medical Education Authority, Al-Zahraa University for Women, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, and under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. The conference brought together a wide group of physicians, researchers, and academics from Iraq and abroad.

The Dean’s participation included delivering a scientific lecture within the Information Technology sessions, focusing on the modern applications of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. The lecture highlighted the role of smart technologies and data analytics in supporting medical diagnosis, improving healthcare quality, and enhancing the accuracy of medical decision-making.

At the conclusion of the participation, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla was honored in recognition of her outstanding scientific contribution. The conference organizers emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary integration between engineering and medical specializations in keeping pace with technological advancement, reflecting the active role of the College of Engineering and Information Technology in scientific forums and its contribution to research and its applications in serving society.
