Under the slogan “My allegiance to the Prince of the Bees is sufficient for me”, and on the blessed occasion of the birth anniversary of the one born in the Ka’ba, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), the Faculty of Education / Department of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, organized a cultural and educational event. The event was held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Husayni Shrine and under the direct supervision of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani. At the outset, the University President delivered a speech in which she extended her congratulations and blessings on this auspicious occasion.

She also welcomed the newly admitted first-year students of the Department of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education, emphasizing the importance of investing such religious occasions in promoting comprehensive intellectual awareness. She highlighted the need to draw inspiration from the values and principles embodied in the life of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), considering them a complete way of life and a moral foundation that contributes to building a conscious and well-rounded university personality.

Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani also pointed to the academic significance of the Department of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education, noting that Al-Zahraa University for Women is among the first universities to establish this department. This step stems from the university’s vision of strengthening intellectual and doctrinal studies related to the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and linking them to the contemporary academic and educational context.

Additionally, the Head of the Department of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education, Dr. Mohammed Al-Amiri, delivered a speech addressing the personality of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) from intellectual, humanitarian, and leadership perspectives. He explained the impact of Imam Ali’s approach in establishing the principles of justice, knowledge, and wisdom, and his role in building society on firm moral foundations. This event is part of a series of scientific, cultural, and educational activities adopted by Al-Zahraa University for Women within its annual programs. These activities aim to enhance religious and intellectual awareness among students and to instill moral values derived from the biography of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), particularly the path of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). Through such events, the university seeks to integrate academic pursuit with educational values and to build a balanced university personality that combines academic excellence with ethical commitment, in line with its vision and academic mission.
