Under the patronage of the Head of the Department of Art Education at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiya, the College of Education / Department of Art Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Non-Traditional Theatrical Space: How Do We Create a New Space?”

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ali Hussein Sahib, who reviewed contemporary concepts of theatrical space and its significance in generating new aesthetic and expressive meanings. The presentation focused on breaking away from conventional theatrical forms and adopting alternative spaces that enhance interaction between the performance and the audience.

The workshop targeted female students and staff of the College of Education and witnessed notable engagement from attendees through discussions and interventions that enriched its scientific and practical dimensions.
