Al-Zahraa University (Peace Be Upon Her) for Women hosted a scientific and educational lecture organized by the Nahj al-Balagha Sciences Foundation affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn, in cooperation with the Presidency of the University and the Department of Nahj al-Balagha Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education. The lecture was held under the title “Glimpses from Nahj al-Balagha.”
The lecture was delivered by Sayyid Riyadh Al-Hakim, in the presence of a distinguished group of scholars and university professors, along with a number of female students. During the lecture, Sayyid Al-Hakim highlighted a range of intellectual, cognitive, and educational insights inspired by Nahj al-Balagha, the words of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
He also emphasized the importance of drawing upon the moral and human values embodied in Nahj al-Balagha in building university awareness and fostering a conscious academic character. He further stressed the role of dialogue, attentive listening to students, and responding to their intellectual, social, and educational questions, as a means of reinforcing authentic thought and promoting value-based awareness within the university environment.
The lecture concluded with a series of comments and questions raised by the students, which were addressed by Sayyid Riyadh Al-Hakim in an interactive atmosphere that reflected the University’s commitment to encouraging constructive dialogue and enhancing intellectual and cognitive communication in support of the academic and educational mission of Al-Zahraa University (Peace Be Upon Her) for Women.
