Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyya, the College of Education organized a distinguished academic ceremony to mark the graduation of the fourth cohort of students from the Department of Arabic. The ceremony was held under the slogan “Heirs of the Ḍād Letter.”
The event took place in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting pride in the graduates’ academic achievements. The college’s administration expressed its appreciation for the students’ dedication and excellence throughout their years of study, affirming that this graduation represents the culmination of sustained effort and perseverance, as well as the first step toward meaningful contributions to education, scholarly research, and the service of the Arabic language.
The administration also praised the pivotal role of the teaching staff in the Department of Arabic, highlighting their academic and pedagogical commitment in refining the students’ skills and expanding their intellectual capacities, in alignment with the college’s mission to prepare qualified educational professionals with both competence and cultural awareness.
For her part, the Head of the Department of Arabic, Associate Professor Dr. Huda Al-Umaidi, delivered a speech expressing her delight at the graduation of this group of students. She noted that the slogan “Heirs of the Ḍād” symbolizes the graduates’ responsibility to preserve the Arabic language and strengthen its presence in educational and cultural institutions, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the graduates and the distribution of certificates of appreciation amid an atmosphere of joy and pride, reaffirming the university’s commitment to preparing competent cadres capable of serving society and advancing the Arabic language as a fundamental pillar of cultural and civilizational identity
