The College of Pharmacy actively participated in the International Conference of Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraq. The College of Pharmacy participated in the work of the International Conference of Colleges of Pharmacy in Iraq (ICIPC 2026), held at Al-Mustansiriya University in the capital, Baghdad, with the participation of government and private colleges of pharmacy in Iraq.

This was demonstrated through a notable academic presence that reflected its contributions to the pharmaceutical scientific landscape at the national level.

The Dean of the College, Professor Nour Hatif Al-Dabbagh, chaired one of the scientific sessions during the conference, a step that underscores the college's role in contributing to the organization of academic dialogues and guiding specialized scientific discussions among researchers and participants.

Mr. Qasim Alawi Badr, Head of the Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Industry Branch, also participated in the committee evaluating the research presented during the poster session, where he contributed to reviewing and evaluating the scientific outputs participating according to the standards adopted in the conference.

The conference proceedings also witnessed the participation of the college’s female students in the scientific exhibition, which included student activities presented through the presentation of a number of research outputs presented by the college’s professors and students, reflecting its interest in promoting scientific research and encouraging young academic talents.

This participation comes as part of the college’s efforts to consolidate its scientific presence and enhance its contribution to the development of pharmaceutical education and academic research in Iraq.
