Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for Women Reinforces Students’ Awareness of Their Rights and Responsibilities in a Specialized Scientific Workshop

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahra University for Women, the Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized scientific workshop titled “Rights and Responsibilities of Female University Students”. The workshop was held in the Al-Sadiqa Hall of the college, with the participation of faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Athir Nazem Hussein, who addressed key topics related to the legal and ethical framework governing university life. The session highlighted students’ rights within the higher education environment, alongside the corresponding academic and behavioral responsibilities that promote discipline and reinforce a conscious university identity. The workshop also emphasized the importance of developing students’ ability to balance academic excellence with value-based commitment.

The event witnessed active participation from students through questions and interventions, reflecting a high level of awareness and responsibility. This initiative aligns with the university’s vision to prepare a disciplined and knowledgeable female academic generation that harmonizes knowledge with mission.
