As part of supporting student activities and activating the scouting movement within academic institutions, the Director of the Student Activities Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, Lect. Dr. A’ida Aboud Hussein, visited Al-Bayan University to explore ways of revitalizing and developing scouting initiatives among Iraqi universities.
The visit aimed to enhance joint cooperation and activate scouting programs through the preparation and qualification of scout leaders, particularly Wood Badge holders, in a manner that contributes to elevating performance standards and developing students’ leadership and organizational skills.
Discussions during the visit addressed several programs and proposals designed to support the university scouting movement and broaden prospects for cooperation and coordination among Iraqi universities. These efforts seek to strengthen the role of student activities in building students’ character and refining their capabilities within an active and integrated university environment.
