Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al‑Mulla Al‑Sultani, the University President, the Women’s Affairs Division in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, organised a scientific workshop entitled “The Legal Limits of Self-Defence.” The workshop was delivered by Asst. lect. Reham Badr Nasser.
The workshop introduced the legal concept of self-defence and outlined its limits and regulations in accordance with applicable legal frameworks. Additionally, it highlighted the circumstances under which the law permits the exercise of the right to legitimate self-defence, thereby contributing to the enhancement of legal awareness among female students.
This workshop comes as part and parcel of a series of awareness-raising activities organised by the University to develop female students’ legal and cultural awareness, in line with its mission to prepare informed and capable graduates who can contribute effectively to society.
