Dr. Haifa Mahmoud Al-Ashqar, a faculty member in the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, has published a specialized scientific article entitled, “The Relationship Between Parents Is the Mirror Through Which the Child Sees Their Worthiness of Trust and Deservingness,” through Arab Democratic Center.
The article examines the impact of the quality of the parental relationship on early childhood psychology, explaining that a child develops self-confidence and a sense of worth through the emotional bond between the father and mother and the feelings of security or tension transmitted through that relationship.
The article also highlights the importance of mutual trust and family harmony in protecting children from anxiety and psychological distress. It emphasizes that parental unity and cooperation constitute the foundation for building a stable psychological identity and inner resilience in children, particularly in times of crisis and difficult circumstances.
This scholarly achievement reflects the active role of the College of Education’s faculty members in contributing to educational and psychological research and in promoting family and social awareness within the community.
