Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Al-Hussaini Shrine, the Department for the Care of Martyrs’ and Wounded Families, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Zahraa University, organized a specialized medical training course entitled:
“Daughters of the Martyrs… A Health Hope for a Brighter Future”, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sadiq Kifah Abd Al-Razzaq.
The course aims to empower beneficiaries from the families of martyrs and the wounded, particularly daughters of martyrs, by equipping them with the necessary scientific and practical skills in the healthcare sector, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres capable of serving society effectively and efficiently.
In his remarks, the Head of the Department for the Care of Martyrs’ and Wounded Families, Hajj Ahmed Rasool, emphasized that the Holy Shrine of Imam-Hussain places great importance on high-quality programs designed to enhance the skills of this group. He highlighted the commitment to offering specialized training courses that open new opportunities in health and humanitarian fields, as an expression of devotion to the sacrifices of martyrs and their families.
The three-day course included both scientific and practical components, covering key topics such as fundamentals of anesthesia, first aid, and broader scientific modules. It also featured theoretical lectures and hands-on training sessions aimed at improving participants’ academic and practical competencies. Special focus was given to the fundamentals of anesthesia, introducing students to its basic concepts, principles, and mechanisms, while providing essential training to help them understand and apply this vital field within a structured educational environment.
This initiative reflects the integration between the humanitarian mission of the Holy Al-Hussaini Shrine and the academic role of Al-Zahraa University, through strengthening applied learning and refining students’ professional skills in alignment with modern developments in biomedical fields.
