Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Al-Hussaini Shrine, and under the supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the Student Activities Department, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Department, organized a memorial ceremony marking the Arbaeen commemoration of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the martyr Ayatollah Say'id Ali Khamenei. The event was held in remembrance of his distinguished journey marked by dedication and sacrifice, and as an embodiment of the values of resilience and steadfastness established by the martyrs in their enduring legacy.

In her address, the University President emphasized that commemorating this occasion represents a renewal of commitment to continue along the path of the martyrs and uphold the values for which they sacrificed. She affirmed that the University remains steadfast in its academic and educational mission to prepare a generation that carries the message of knowledge and faith, contributing to building society on solid foundations of values and principles.

The ceremony was also attended by a delegation from the Iranian Consulate in Karbala, headed by the Consul, Mr. Ja'far Safari. The delegation commended the organization of the event and highlighted the importance of such activities in reflecting the depth of cultural and humanitarian ties between the Iraqi and Iranian peoples. They also emphasized the continuation of communication and cooperation across various fields that contribute to scientific and intellectual advancement.

This event comes as part of a series of activities organized by the University to reinforce spiritual and humanitarian values, enhance cultural awareness among students, and contribute to building a cohesive and conscious university environment grounded in authentic principles and values.
