Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, the Department of Nahj al-Balagha Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Role of Reason in Achieving Happiness: A Qur’anic Study,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hanan Aidan Al-Zubaidi.

The workshop highlighted the concept of reason in the Holy Qur’an, emphasizing its significance in shaping human character and guiding behavior toward the right path, as well as its role in achieving psychological, spiritual, and social well-being.

The lecturer also discussed the relationship between the use of reason and adherence to Qur’anic values and principles, explaining that true happiness is attained through awareness, sound reflection, and wise decision-making grounded in Islamic teachings.

The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees, with discussions covering several key ideas that underscored the importance of reason in human life and the necessity of investing it in facing challenges and building a conscious and balanced society.
