A joint evaluative exam at the College of Engineering promotes unified standards in architectural education
In a step that reflects the maturity of academic coordination among universities, the Department of Architecture Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology conducted a joint evaluative exam for second-year female students. The exam took place over two days, with the participation of public and private universities, including the Universities of Karbala, Al-Safwa, and Al-Zahraa (PBUH) for Women, within a collaborative framework aimed at unifying assessment standards and enhancing the quality of outcomes.
Architectural Drawing (4) was part of the first day of the exam, following a shared organizational vision that emphasized precision in question preparation and objectivity in grading, ensuring an accurate assessment of students’ levels بعيداً عن التفاوتات الفردية بين المؤسسات التعليمية.
This exam represents a pivotal milestone in strengthening academic fairness, as it contributes to achieving parity in scientific levels among female students in public and private universities, and reinforces institutional confidence in their outcomes, in line with the requirements of the specialization and enhancing the presence of architecture graduates in the job market.
