In line with the importance of preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with rapid digital transformations, and under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Eman Sameer Bahia, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education, in cooperation with the University Psychological Division, organized a specialized training course entitled “Building the Child’s Personality in the Modern Era.”
The course was delivered by Dr. Haifa Mahmoud Al-Ashqar, a lecturer in the Department of Special Education, and addressed key themes including contemporary educational approaches, characteristics of Generation Alpha, and the shift toward influence-based parenting and internal value-building, in addition to enhancing children’s emotional intelligence and psychological resilience.
The course witnessed active engagement through practical activities and workshops focusing on 21st-century skills, critical thinking, and educational leadership, emphasizing positive discipline and the development of strong educational relationships to prepare a capable and future-ready generation.
