An official delegation from Al-Zahraa University visited Al-Safeer Hospital, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam-Hussain, as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with healthcare institutions and expand avenues of scientific and practical partnership in support of the healthcare sector and its institutions.

The delegation was headed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, accompanied by members of the senior staff. The visit aimed to extend congratulations to Dr. Haider Zeini on the occasion of assuming his role as Director of Al-Safeer Hospital, wishing him continued success in his new responsibilities and in advancing healthcare services and enhancing the quality of medical care provided to patients from across Iraq.

During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of strengthening integration between academic institutions and the healthcare sector, noting that such partnerships are a cornerstone in supporting educational and training programs. These collaborations provide valuable practical opportunities for students to gain field experience and better align their skills with labor market needs, in line with modern developments in health and medical sciences.

For his part, Dr. Zeini expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit, commending the University’s academic and societal role in supporting the educational process and enhancing its active presence within the community. He also affirmed his commitment to expanding areas of joint cooperation between the health sector and the University.

This visit represents one of the ongoing steps aimed at strengthening collaboration between academic and healthcare institutions, developing joint initiatives, enhancing performance standards, and building effective partnerships with reputable healthcare organizations.
