The Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) for Women, organized a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Women in Health and Community Development,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Fatima Hassan Shaker.

The workshop highlighted the pivotal role women play in strengthening health and community systems through their active contributions in healthcare services, health education, and community awareness initiatives. It also emphasized their impact on promoting sustainable development and building a more conscious and healthier society.

In addition, the workshop addressed key challenges faced by women in this field, offering scientific insights and practical approaches aimed at empowering women and enhancing their capabilities in line with contemporary societal needs.

The event witnessed notable engagement from students, with discussions enriching the workshop’s themes and reinforcing awareness of the importance of women’s contributions to community service and development.
